Buster was rejected by his mother and abandoned at a gas station during a severe storm. He was found by a lady that took him in for 5 days. She lost her job and could not care for him. On 7/14/2016 I happened to be at Animal control getting a county tag for one of my dogs. I noticed a lady come in with a tiny basket and a bottle. I was curious so I enquired about the puppy. She was there to turn Buster over to Animal control. I told her she couldn't do that because they would kill him and to give him to me. On that day, I became the proud mama of this tiny 16.5 ounce pitbull. Buster was very dehydrated and was missing a piece of his ear. His right eye was injured causing his eyelashes to grow down into his eye instead of up and away from his eye. He still had some of his sack stuck to his skin. He had burns on his fur in many places from laying in his feces. He also had a problem with his back legs and struggled to walk. Every since that day Buster became my baby. I fed him with a bottle every 2 to 4 hours for weeks, even all through the night, until he was ready for puppy food. The vet was unsure if he would live but he did. He is now flourishing and growing like a weed. He is my miracle baby!
