Finch

This is my new grand dog Finch. He is the most energetic and funny puppy. We already have 2 German Shepherd’s and a small rescue, so we really didn’t wasn’t looking for an additional dog. My 19 year old daughter wanted to move out on her own so she could get this little guy. The area she wanted to move to was not a safe place to live, especially for a young woman. So, to keep her home and safe, we agreed to the puppy. When she got him home, he was infested with fleas, and had a bald spot from ring worms. We immediately noticed he would not put pressure on his back right leg. The breeder assured us that she just noticed the injury 2 days prior and it was nothing to worry about. On Monday morning, as soon as the Vet opened we had Finch there for X-rays. We were told by the doctor that his right leg was indeed broken!! The worst part, was it had been like this for some time as it had already started to heal. Of course the breeder had no explanation of how it might have happened. He also had heart and round worms! This poor guy was only 8 week’s old and had already been through so much trauma!! Well, not anymore! He is now loved by our family and his 3 fur sisters. It is amazing how the Lord is always matching people and animals together!! We are so happy to be able to care for and love this little guy. He has brought so much laughter and joy to our family. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.
